Pitbull & T-Pain party with St. Louis fans

The first Pitbull concert I ever attended blew my mind. It was back in 2022 and I expected the audience to be a bunch of elderly millennials and moms, all wanting to get down to Mr. Worldwide like they did back in the early 2000s. Color me shocked when I showed up to a sold-out show and a crowd consisting predominantly of high school girls.

This time, two years later, I knew what to expect.

I showed up to another sold-out amphitheater, full of screaming young girls in bald caps, dressed and dancing alongside women twice their age. This time the crowd seemed even more packed and the energy even more intense than the first time! Maybe the addition of T-Pain to the show brought with it an extra dose of excitement for attendees? Maybe Pitbull’s fame has continued to steamroll due to viral TikToks and an increasingly online youth demographic? Whatever it was, the feeling was palpable and, as the opening deejays played their sets, the arena filled out while the rowdiness of the crowd increased.

By the time T-Pain took the stage, every seat was filled and the lawn behind the reserved seats was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with eager fans. T-Pain took the stage and immediately began a tour through his immensely deep catalog of R&B and hip hop hits. Watching a T-Pain show feels a lot like turning on the early morning music videos on MTV back in the day. It’s honestly effectively the same thing… T-Pain was featured on so many popular songs from that time period that he basically was the Mayor of MTV. And he loooooves to remind the crowd how deep the track list really goes. Busting his way through classic after classic, alternating between auto-tuned crooners and gangster rap hooks, T-Pain has aged like a fine wine — and still out here proving that he’s got it.

Speaking of early 2000s smash hits, no one embodies that idea more than Pitbull.

Back in the day, you couldn’t turn on the radio or walk into a club without hearing Mr. 305 party-rocking his way through the speakers. Now experiencing a resurgence of popularity, Pitbull is — once again — putting his nickname of “Mr. Worldwide” on the line with a world tour that pulls out all the stops. His show, which features an entire dance squad and a full live band, will thrill both new and old fans. If there’s a Pitbull fan in your circle, do them (and yourself) a favor and say “DALE” to those tickets, because this is a tour you don’t want to miss!
