A night of country music with Cole Swindell & friends in Erie
On September 12th, the Erie Insurance Arena was filled with excitement as Cole Swindell brought his Happy Hour Sad Tour to town. Country fans poured into the arena early for featured special guests Priscilla Block and Greylan James, knowing the lineup for the night was full from start to finish.
Greylan James opened the show, wasting wasted no time getting the Erie crowd into it. His performance was upbeat and fun — the perfect way to set the tone for the night. Fans were clapping along and singing with him by the time he wrapped up. Next up onstage was Priscilla Block, adding even more energy to the already grooving and hollering crowd. Block’s personality sure does shine throughout her performance, especially as she connects with the crowd.
Before attendees knew it, it was time for the main act.
The arena roared as Cole Swindell came out to go right into his hit song, “Bottom of It”. Mixing in some of his biggest hits beside deeper cuts, songs like “Single Saturday Night”, “How Is She”, “Left to Get Right”, and “Drinkaby” had the whole place on their feet. Seriously, Swindell knows how to put together a setlist that keeps the crowd engaged from beginning to end!
To close the night, Swindell performed his smash hit “She Had Me at Heads Carolina”, pulsing the arena with electricity from thousands of voices singing along. Before exiting the stage, Swindell made sure to cordially thank the crowd, even mentioning that Erie holds a special place in his heart as he last performed the town back in 2022. It was evident that fans were more than thrilled to have him back. Hopefully, it won’t take another three years for the next show!
