Jamestown Revival riles up Sacramento’s Ace of Spades

Music flowed through a packed crowd on January 22nd at the Ace of Spades music venue in Sacramento, California. Opening the show was a quartet, based out of North Carolina named Mipso. The band was composed of Jacob Sharp (mandolin/vocals), Libby Rodenbough (fiddle/vocals), Wood Robinson (bass/vocals) and Joseph Terrell (guitar/vocals). Their incredible twist of traditional string band music and modern flair made for an excellent way to start the night.

The crowd erupted into cheers as the headlining band took to the stage — Jamestown Revival!

Jamestown Revival is the duo of Zach Chance (piano/vocals) and Jonathan Clay (guitar/vocals). Backing up the duo is their incredible band: Ed Benrock (drums), Nick Bearden (bass), Dan Reckard (organ/keys) and Preston Wimberly (guitar). This Texas American folk duo has been creating perfect harmonies since the age of 15! The set list for the night consisted of songs from their new studio album, Young Man, which was released only a week earlier on the 14th of January. It is a very well worthwhile album, which you can hear on their tour across America between now and the end of March. Be sure to catch a show and enjoy this wonderful band!
