Katchafire ignites Eugene, OR

New Zealand band Katchafire played an amazing Oregon set on September 12th, with openers EarthKry from Jamaica and local Eugene band Sol Seed at Sessions Music Hall. This venue is very intimate, which allowed for the bands and the crowd to really feed off each other’s energy. Katchafire played so many of the songs fans were hoping to hear and some really beautiful surprises.

EarthKry did a reggae version of Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” that got everyone moving. Sol Seed are local heroes with a big following. They played their popular song “Family Tree”, which is about making friends and fans that feel like family in the music industry. After a few tour dates together, it looks like all three bands are now part of the same musical family tree. The energy that the three bands brought was consistent and so much fun to witness!
