Punk in the Park 2021: Day Two

On November 7th, Punk in the Park Day Two was held at the Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA. Saturday was headlined by NOFX, who were supported by 13 other great bands! For those that were over 21, there were over 100 different beers to try from all the different regional breweries that were there.

The day started out sunny and a bit warmer than the previous day.

Sidekick got things going, getting the crowd’s energy up to start the fun. They were followed by Makewar and then La Pobreska, whose horns and stage presence really blew me away. Next up were Get Dead, D.I., Left Alone and Ignite, who all had amazing sets. Teenage Bottlerocket and Authority Zero, both bands I hadn’t seen before and they both blew me away. Strung Out was next on the main stage and gave the kind of killer performance fans are used to. After Strung out, The Dickies closed out the sets that were on the small stage for the day. Bouncing Souls came up on the main stage, followed by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes playing classic songs with a punk style. NOFX had closed out the night with a fun high energy set that had the pit raging and fans singing along into the night.
