Samia closes US leg of Bloodless Tour at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl

Samia brought her Bloodless US and Canada tour, promoting her third album of the same name, to a close in a city she previously called home –Nashville, Tennessee. Brooklyn-based musician Renny Conti was the supporting act on the latter half of this leg of tour. During Conti’s opening set, fans noticed Samia taking a peek from a side stage balcony. Multiple band members from Samia’s crew joined Conti for the duration of his set; one would’ve assumed these were his regular bandmates playing alongside him, considering how well they meshed their sounds together!

Samia greeted the crowd at Brooklyn Bowl while sporting her classic hairstyle of a high pony with two front strands of hair hanging on the sides, Y2K style. She opened the night with “Triptych” from her 2020 debut album. Samia’s set was dominated by her most recent album, with a few exceptions from The Baby and Honey. Her newer work pulls in more organic, acoustic guitar sounds that transport you to a field on a summer night. This aura was enhanced by the prop styling onstage –campfire-style chairs and lamps without shades.

Between many songs, Samia sat in one of the chairs for moments of reflection.

Samia shared the stage with Noah Rauchwerk on drums, Boone Wallace and Darryl Rahn on lead and rhythm guitars, and Ned Steves on bass. It was clear how much the singer-songwriter loves her bandmates, always found dancing with them and feeding off of their energies like one big happy family.

The 28-year-old has a knack for seamless transitions between melancholic sounds to hopeful melodies. Over the years, Samia has perfected her onstage dancing. It’s free-spirited in nature, yet thoughtful. At one point, she even laid on the ground, knees bent, feet by her hips in a nearly impossible contortion, drenched in a bright white spotlight. Later on, the singer brought out her opening act, Renny Conti, for a joint rendition of “Kill Her Freak Out” from her second album, Honey.

This song famously receives blaring sing-alongs from audiences… and tonight was no exception.

Brooklyn Bowl was treated to a three-song encore. Samia started with “Pool”, recently rereleased as a stripped version following the success of her NPR Tiny Desk rendition. She then performed “Is There Something in the Movies?” and, finally, her upbeat hit “Honey”.

Samia will find herself in Scotland and the United Kingdom for a handful of shows later this month, before returning to the States for the highly anticipated Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April 2026.
