Catch the legendary Luciano in San Diego, CA

For those who hold roots-reggae music close to their heart, the World Beat Cultural Center has an upcoming show featuring Luciano, “the Messenger” on Thursday, June 12th at their center in Balboa Park, San Diego! This is just one of many upcoming shows featured over the summer, including Pablo Moses and Yellowman happening in July!

Luciano will be commemorating the late Leonard P. Howell, “First Rasta” and “The Orginial Gong”

Luciano is a highly-recognized singer and performer from Jamaica, and besides spreading messages of inspiration and encouragement, he is also known as spreading messages on the Rastafarian Movement. According to the World Beat Center, Luciano will be commemorating the late Leonard P. Howell, “First Rasta” and “The Orginial Gong” as part of the Occupy Pinnacle Movement in order to spread the Roots Movement of Jamaica through word and expression. Opening for Luciano will be I-Kronik, another reggae band from Jamaica who plays contemporary-style reggae music, but has been recognized throughout the U.S. for their high-energy and performance.
