On Wednesday, May 17th, Los Angeles based band Dankrupt’s latest EP titled CALIROCK will hit the streets. To offer up a little taste of what this four piece band will bring, Top Shelf Reggae presents the opening track from the EP, “California Everyday.”

Four exceptional musicians whose work spans multiple genres, CALIROCK is a monumental endeavor that's more than the sum of its parts. Recorded under the direction of multi-platinum producer Sean Gould and mastered by GRAMMY Award winning Rueben Cohen, the results are a truly imaginative album defying categorization, where one might hear elements of funk rock, metal, reggae rock, hard rock and your first teenage acid trip all in one.
Since the early 2010s, Dankrupt has brought their unique signature blend of anthemic rock and reggae to the masses. A great deal has changed in the years since the band got their start and they’ve found a way to carry on and shine in today’s ever-changing music platform.
Shortly following the release, Dankrupt will be kicking off their supporting spring tour, sharing the stage with three-time GRAMMY Award winner and fifteen-time nominee Steve Vai.
