John Mayer announces 2023 acoustic tour

John Mayer announces 2023 acoustic tour

John Mayer is performing a one man show. This tour will be his first acoustic tour which will feature his acoustic guitar rhythms, electric guitar jams, and piano melodies. The 45-year-old lifelong musician will play in twenty arenas throughout the United States and Canada.

Joining Mayer will be on tour with singer-songwriters Lizzy McAlpine and Alec Benjamin. At a later time, there will be also be announced special guests performing on tour depending on the city.

Earlier yesterday morning, the seven-time Grammy award winner announced the tour via Instagram. “I began my career on stage with only a guitar and a microphone. A lot has changed since then, but I knew one day I’d feel it in my heart to do an entire run of shows on my own again, just like those early days. It took a couple of decades, but I feel it now.

I’ll be playing old songs. Newer songs. Songs you haven’t heard yet that I’ll be road testing – all on acoustic, electric, and piano.”

His tour begins on on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. His last show will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

He also added on Instagram, “Tickets will go on sale February 3, at 9 a.m. local time. Presales start Wednesday, February 1, from 9 a.m. local time to Thursday, February 2, at 10 p.m. Fans can sign up to access presale tickets now at Johnmayer.com.”
