Goldenvoice has revealed yet another unforgettable musical journey with the return of Just Like Heaven Fest for its fourth installment! This year promises an incredible lineup, taking place once again at Pasadena’s Brookside at the Rose Bowl on May 18th, embracing the vibrant spirit of late spring while smack-dab in the middle of a festival season frenzy.
Headlining this monumental occasion is none other than The Postal Service, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their iconic album, ‘Give Up’.
Joining them is Death Cab For Cutie, marking the 20th anniversary of their masterpiece Transatlanticism. The two recently sold out the Hollywood Bowl for three days straight, making their appearance at Just Like Heaven Festival a can’t-miss event. Ben Gibbard, frontman of both Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service, shared in a statement, “We are thrilled to headline Just Like Heaven. It’s a great festival and opportunity to bring the 20th anniversary celebration of ‘Give Up’ and ‘Transatlanticism’ back to the Los Angeles area.”
The festival is a multi-generational showcase of both new and nostalgic indie music.
The lineup features a stellar cast of artists, including ALVVAYS, Phoenix, The War On Drugs, Passion Pit, Miike Snow, Two Door Cinema Club, Phantogram, Broken Social Scene, Metric, Tegan and Sara, Washed Out, and CSS. Another huge note on this lineup is the return of the beloved, pop/indie rock trio Gossip, who will undoubtedly be playing new music from their first album in 11 years titled Real Power — releasing March 22nd, 2024. Don’t miss their epic return at JLH!
