In the words of Michael Scott — “Okay, now everybody, just STAY CALM!” We’ve waited, watched postponements and cancellations consume the world… but, now live music is finally back, baby! Life is Beautiful Festival announced their completely stacked lineup as the first major LIVE music festival thus far in 2021. Appropriately tagging their announcement with “LIVE is Beautiful”, major headliners Green Day, Tame Impala and, returning from last year’s anticipated lineup, Billie Eilish are topping the bill this year in Downtown Las Vegas, September 17-19th, 2021. I’m not crying, you’re crying!
The lineup touches every inch of the music spectrum to give a little something for everyone.
Starting with our major rappers, A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, 6LACK, EKOH, Don Toliver, JID and (everyone’s favorite fantasy) Ludacris are slated to grace the stage alongside pop-emo rappers Trevor Daniel and POORSTACY. Pop-punk acts HAIM and All Time Low will be joining Green Day in the rock wing with Modest Mouse, Canadian duo Death From Above 1979, White Reaper and The Backseat Lovers. Psychedelic rockers can get their fix on the return of Glass Animals, St. Vincent, Still Woozy and Half Alive. American roots-rock folk Queen Brittany Howard is slated with Noah Cyrus, Teddy Swims, Caamp and hip-hop duo Earthgang.
Joining Billie Eilish in the women who rule LIB category are the following baddies: punk-pop sensation Ashnikko is bringing the diva girl game strong, with Celeste, Remi Wolf, Jamila Woods and BIA. EDM enthusiasts will love to see Illenium and San Holo, both of which are dropping new albums this year, just in time for the show! Speaking of EDM, techno house artist Fisher will also be slaying the stage with deep house/dubstep/all those smooth wubs and dubs from artists Dillon Francis and Ekali. Some other great electronic music artists we are lucky to have playing are Purity Ring, Shaed, Drama, Cash Cash, surf mesa, CloZee, Yaeji, Shiba San, Lost Frequencies, Emotional Oranges, Joel Corry, Slenderbodies, LSDREAM, NOTD, ford., Brijean and Virunga. Other big pop/alt-pop artists that we will see this year are Ant Clemons, Mob Rich, Amy Allen, Evan Giia, Sir Chloe and Midnight Kids. I think we have every type of electronic feel you could ever possibly want in this mix right here!
Festival-goers rejoiced and wasted no time getting their spot for this historic event.
