Ocean City, Maryland has thrown its hat in the ring! Multi-day music festivals have become all the rage. It seems as though there is a new one announced on a weekly basis. However, the first-ever Oceans Calling 2023 music fest is taking the cake!
With music spanning decades and genres, the anticipation is already palpable!
Originally slated for 2022, the first attempt at Ocean’s Calling was unfortunately canceled due to Hurricane Ian. Thankfully, the C3 Presents production crew alongside festival co-founders, partners, and local legendary bandmates of O.A.R took that as an opportunity to bring us an even more mind-blowing event.
From September 29th to October 1st, Ocean City Inlet Beach will host beachfront headlining performances by world-renowned musicians Jack Johnson and Alanis Morissette (9/29), John Mayer (9/30) and The Lumineers (10/1). Three days, three stages, endless fun.
Additional performers include Slightly Stoopid, Third Eye Blind, Michael Franti & Spearhead, O.A.R, Michigander, Incubus, Sheryl Crow, Noah Kahan, Dispatch, Jimmy Eat World, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Gin Blossoms, Weezer, Dirty Heads, Fitz and the Tantrums, G. Love & Special Sauce, The Wallflowers … AND MORE!
And that’s just the music! Attendees can look forward to cooking demos from the globally acclaimed chefs Robert Irvine (Restaurant Impossible) and Amanda Freitag (Chopped) that celebrate the regional cuisine hosted by actor Jason Biggs (American Pie)! Fans will also be offered concessions throughout the fest from local food vendors.
Additionally, the iconic Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park, located inside the festival grounds, will be fully operational for festival goers, as admission will be included within each Oceans Calling Festival ticket purchase, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. Not to mention, the approval to come and go as you please until 7:00 PM each night.
Unfortunately, tickets are very limited already. All that remains are single-day GA ($135), GA+ ($295), VIP ($475) and Platinum tickets ($950). There are layaway options for purchasers as well. However, prices do not include shipping and added fees. Admission is free for children 8 and under accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Single-day GA tickets grant you admittance to Ocean City Inlet Beach for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of the festival and include access to live music across all three stages, food choices from regional and local vendors including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, access to bars, concessions, official band merchandise, festival merchandise and free water stations throughout the park.
Single-day GA+ tickets provide the same privileges as GA tickets plus unlimited access to GA+ lounge with relaxed seating and air-conditioned restrooms, full-service bar for purchase, complimentary water and dedicated GA+ concierge to assist with your festival needs.
The 1-Day VIP ticket allows you admittance to Ocean City Inlet Beach for ONE day of the festival and includes all the benefits of the GA ticket in addition to exclusive viewing area with elevated lines of sight of the Sea Bright (main) Stage, dedicated viewing area at Sea Bright (main) and Rockville stages (behind Platinum viewing), unlimited access to VIP Lounge at both Sea Bright Stage and Rockville Stage with relaxed seating and air-conditioned restrooms, full-service bar for purchase in both VIP Lounges, complimentary water, dedicated VIP concierge to assist with your festival needs, dedicated premium entrance into the festival, lockers and mobile charging units for rent and express lane at the festival store.
Lastly, the 1-Day Platinum ticket allows you admittance to Ocean City Inlet Beach for ONE day of the festival and includes exclusive front-of-stage viewing at Sea Bright, Rockville and Carousel Stages, exclusive on-stage viewing at Sea Bright Stage (pending artist approval, headliner shows not available), unlimited access to Platinum Lounges at Sea Bright and Rockville Stages with relaxed seating and air-conditioned restrooms, complimentary full-service bar in Platinum Lounges, complimentary all-day dining, dedicated Platinum concierge to assist with your festival needs, complimentary lockers with mobile charging units (available first come, first served), dedicated premium entrance into the festival, express lane at the festival store, an exclusive festival gift and access to all VIP, GA+ and GA areas!
