Parker Ainsworth offers “Only Love” single ahead of debut album

Joshua Tree singer-songwriter Parker Ainsworth wraps up the year with release of his “Only Love” single, a poetic plea to humanity at large. Ainsworth prominently surged into the spotlight last year with his “Running For So Long (House A Home)” single featured in the film The Peanut Butter Falcon, starring Shia LeBeouf and Dakota Johnson, and continues to blow away audiences with his inviting tenor voice ever since.

In terms of legacy, Parker Ainsworth wishes to leave “only one thing behind” — love.

From beginning to end, life is fueled by love. In these recent times, it’s all too easy to get sidetracked from the general rule of love: to accept others unconditionally as they should accept you, without judgement, bias or bigotry. For 2020 has brought us hatred, greed, fear and confusion… all of which have amounted to mass finger-pointing, false media and social divisiveness. Ainsworth attempts to steer us back on course with “Only Love”, a ballad for the disenfranchised. Melodic and vocally harmonized, Ainsworth smoothly sings of “a table set for all”; welcome to his vision of the world. For, love is elemental, just as is earth’s “fire, dust and wind”. It resides at the core in humanity’s mission statement. It’s about time to start showing it.

With acoustic Americana guitar sliding over soothing strings and a steady beat, this wholeheartedly altruistic song cannot possibly be more fitting for a New Year. As his third release of 2020, “Only Love” is another masterful addition to Ainsworth’s forthcoming Running For So Long debut full-length, due out early 2021.
