Punk in the Park 2025 in San Pedro: know before you go

After pulling off one of punk rock’s most memorable send-offs for NOFX last year, Punk In The Park is back at San Pedro’s Berth 46 at the Port of Los Angeles with another solid weekend of music presented by Brew Ha Ha THIS weekend on October 4th and 5th.

Get ready for more than 40 bands across the waterfront venue. And lots of thrashing.

This year’s headliners hit different notes of punk’s family tree. Bad Religion and Pennywise will close out Saturday night, while Sunday belongs to Descendents and The Interrupters. It’s a smart mix that covers punk’s intellectual side; it’s a more straightforward approach, with nods to both the older genre guardians and newer voices keeping the scene alive.

Face To Face, Screeching Weasel, and The Adicts are readyt to bring decades of experience, while bands like The Bronx and Death By Stereo represent punk’s more recent evolution. Stiff Little Fingers adds some international flavor, while deeper cuts like Teenage Bottlerocket and The Queers are set to satisfy any crowd ready to get rowdy.

Producer Cameron Collins seems genuinely excited about following up last year’s NOFX farewell: “We thought long and hard about how to follow that up,” Collins says. “Who would deliver another world-class weekend? And honestly, I think we nailed it.” The confidence feels earned – this lineup has real depth beyond the marquee names.

The Port of Los Angeles further gives the festival a unique backdrop.

Playing punk rock next to the Pacific Ocean isn’t something you see every day and the industrial waterfront vibe fits the music perfectly. The venue can handle the crowds without feeling cramped and having multiple stages means less downtime between sets.

Beyond the music, Punk In The Park keeps things simple, but smart. The craft beer fest runs from noon to 3pm each day, with multiple food trucks will be onsite, including vegan options. Punk in the Park is not trying to reinvent the festival experience; they just do the basics well.

Weekend passes start at $149.99, which feels reasonable for two full days of music. But act fast, considering we’re days away from gates opening on Day One! VIP tickets at $279.99 include dedicated viewing areas and lounge access for those wanting a break from the pit. Single-day tickets are still available and, if that’s the way you want to go, check the set lists below to see which day will swing your decision:

Punk In The Park has grown from a single event in 2021 to festivals across the country. The Los Angeles edition benefits from that experience, as the organizers know how to put on a show without getting too complicated about it.

With Bad Religion‘s Greg Graffin still delivering thoughtful punk anthems and Descendents proving that pop punk done right never gets old, this year’s Punk In The Park (the San Pedro edition) should deliver exactly what it promises — two days of solid music in a cool setting. Sometimes, that’s all you need. For more information or to get last minute tickets, check the links below.
