Going down at Vinoy Park March 16-18th, the 4th Annual Florida fest is planning on taking everything to new heights. Attached to the first-round 2018 announcement are the biggest names in the industry among the hottest up-and-comers around. Drum roll, please: Rebelution, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Tribal Seeds, Jesse Royal, Mike Love, RDGLDGRN, Nattali Rize, New Kingston, Katastro, Iya Terra, Tropidelic, Jungle Man Sam and Summer Survivors. Just that small taste of the rundown exhibits reggae in nearly all formats – Cali reggae, reggae revival, folk-reggae, hip hop-reggae, riddim and roll. Whatever you’re into, you’ll be sure enjoying yourself.

The music isn't the only thing off the hook – this year will feature upgraded technology as well. 2018 festivalgoers will receive a high-tech RFID wristband that grants you not only entry, but another payment option for merch, food and drinks. Go ahead and pre-load it before you get there, and if you happen to run low on funds, the grounds will offer multiple cashless top up stations to get you locked and loaded again. Naturally, this is an all-ages event that caters to the 21+ crowd with quality beer and spirits, and foodies don’t have to fret about starving since vegan and vegetarian options will be thrown in the mix throughout the vendor village.

More details for merch and sponsors are coming alongside the next announcement installment(s), but in the meantime, 3-day passes for the 4th Annual are now available for general admission and VIP! VIP passes include the usual sponsor shwag bag along with an official Reggae Rise Up T-shirt and lanyard, early gate entry, premium stage viewing, private restrooms and bar access, and five free drinks pre-loaded onto their VIP wristband. That right there saves you a whopping $50+ if you plan on knocking a few back! The Reggae Rise Up site hints at single day tickets to come, yet none are available for purchase at this time. Guess east coast guests will have to just wait and see what unfolds with additional artist announcements! For more information concerning passes and more, visit www.reggaeriseupflorida.com.
