After a year-long hiatus, Sick New World is officially back and bigger than ever. Officials have announced not one but two major installments for 2026, marking the event’s most ambitious year yet. As seen on the Vegas billboard at When We Were Young 2025, the metal-centric festival will return to its home base at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on April 25th, 2026, staying true to its spring tradition.
However, for the first time, the festival is expanding beyond Nevada.
A newly revealed fall date of October 24th, 2026 has been set for Sick New World to take over the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Shortly after the WWWY billboard reveal, both festivals dropped their uniquely stacked lineups that will undeniably impress any alt rock lover across generations.
Both fests will be headlined by System of a Down, continuing their role as one of the festival’s most iconic and consistently anticipated acts. The Las Vegas return brings SOAD together with Korn as co-headliners, with support from Ministry, AFI, Bring Me the Horizon, Danny Elfman, Acid Bath, Evanescence, Underoath, and additional artists performing across multiple stages.

The Texas edition will feature a (slightly different, yet still) powerhouse lineup, with deviations from Vegas being Deftones, Slayer (celebrating 40 years of Reign in Blood), Boy Harsher, The Prodigy, Down, Power Trip, Sleep Theory, and several others — see below!

Inline with the Sick New World experience, attendees can expect a full day of performances on multiple stages, a wide selection of food choices from regional and local vendors, official band merchandise, and free water stations — no matter which city you’re heading to.
Tickets for both the Las Vegas and Fort Worth events are on sale now, with layaway plans available for all ticket types. Fans can secure their passes via the festival website. With two major dates, legendary headliners, and a lineup mixing classic heavy acts with modern trailblazers, Sick New World 2026 is shaping up to be the festival’s biggest and boldest return yet.
