After some social media teasers, California’s own Expendables dropped their highly anticipated new collaboration I Won’t Give Up with reggae songstress Hirie. The track is definitely a more mature-sounding work The Expendables, whose most recent songs have combined hard-hitting surf rock with reggae undertones. The Santa Cruz based band perfectly balances Hirie’s soft vocals with increasing intensity of guitar rhythms and brass notes.

The single will appear on their upcoming new EP “Moment”, which is scheduled for a May 5th release date via Faction Entertainment, and feature tracks with Eric Rachmany from Rebelution, Micah Pueschel from Iration, and Tech N9NE.
