The latest 2023 festival lineup drop feels Just Like Heaven

2023 just keeps getting better for indie music fans! Just Like Heaven Festival returns to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on May 13th, 2023 for its highly anticipated third year, hosting some of the biggest names of the new millennium indie scene.

Top billings feature Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Empire of the Sun, M83, Future Islands, Hot Chip, Caribou, The Walkmen, The Bravery, and many more. As a special treat, MGMT is set to perform its 2007 album Oracular Spectacular in its entirety, including iconic songs like “Time To Pretend”, “Kids”, and “Electric Feel”. For a taste of the action, check out the Just Like Heaven 2023 playlists on Spotify and Apple Music.

Although a relatively new festival to the scene, Just Like Heaven has gained mass support and admiration, capitalizing on the cultural return of 00’s indie style (see ‘The Return of Indie Sleaze’). The festival is sure to impress indie heads across the board, whether they are new to the scene or have stuck around since the days of Myspace. Past fests have included acts such as Chromeo, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Shins, Bloc Party, Beach House, Phoenix, and Passion Pit, amongst others.

The festival grounds include two stages, Orion and Stardust. Presale started Friday, January 20th at 10:00 a.m. PST. All passes are available now with GA tickets ranging from $175 to $215 (including fees), and VIP costing $399–not too bad for reliving the nostalgia of all your favorite bands from your iPod. Clubhouse level tickets will run you a bit higher, but includes clubhouse entrance with complimentary beer/wine/cocktails, access to VIP viewing sections, and parking.
