WORLD TRACK PREMIERE: Operation Culture “Go Far”

Brothers Javier and Daniel Rodriguez have always had a musical knack. Teaming together to form a duo under the name Operation Culture, the two have released a handful of reggae singles to initial acclaim. Following their latest “Way It Goes” single comes this world track premiere for “Go Far”, a lighthearted love story so needed at such a time of quarantine.

Out on all digital outlets April 24th, Top Shelf Music is proud to host the single’s premiere, a perfect pairing for the upcoming weekend.

Reminiscent of a Dirty Heads sound, Operation Culture proposes to be “your forever always” as they ride into the sunset with you. “I know you wanna go far // run away in an old car” — #swoon. “Go Far” not only delivers on a romantic level, but further on a technical level, with overlays and rhythms that change up as it progresses. A bubble organ, synthy keys, lots of reverb; all key elements in any successful reggae track.

Operation Culture may be gearing up for an album of sorts, now with five singles under their belts. What is known is that these brothers are bound to “go far” as long as they keep making music together. Be amongst the first to tune into Operation Culture’s “Go Far” single before it hits stores tomorrow via the stream below and be sure to follow this up-and-coming duo on social media!
