WORLD VIDEO PREMIERE: Jacuzzi Fuzz “Misinformation”

The world is overrun by information; it’s coming in on all sides. The television, the Internet, social media, and podcasts — we’re bombarded by news. The problem is, it’s getting harder and harder to recognize what’s opinion and what’s fact.

Biases and beliefs don’t add up to truths.

And Miami-based reggae band Jacuzzi Fuzz knows it. In this world premiere of their music video for “Misinformation”, the band promptly “interrupts this message” to bring to you a raw reggae groove and a not-so-simple call to action: put your phone down, turn the TV off — it’s time to see through the lies and corruption. “We need to get the record straight before it gets too late,” demands lead singer Andy Clavijo as he dances in a deserted storage facility, while local rocker Natasha De Renzis (of Condors and Chaos) sings harmonic “woahs” at the chorus.

The song, originally released this past January 30th via Rebel Sound Records, is horn-heavy and uplifting, despite the somber state of the world at hand. With integrity and passion, we can rise above the mass deception — “it’s only a matter of time before the wicked find themselves falling.”
