Blink-182 & Lil Wayne satisfy Seattle

Wow, what an amazing night for the people of Seattle, Washington! One of the greatest pop-punk bands and rappers of all time coming full throttle! The White River Amphitheater was full of energy and the fans were ecstatic to listen to rock and hip hop. The stage at the White River Amphitheater was full of huge speakers — 19 to be exact. I’ve never seen so many speakers on one stage. When Lil Wayne came on stage, fans were cheering and rapping along to his classics like “Fireman”, “Lollipop” and “Mrs. Officer”. Weezy was very thankful for the fans and was happy to be there. Throughout his performance, there were shots of fire coming from the stage to blend into his songs. It was awesome to watch!

Mark informed the audience that it had been 20 years since their smash album Enema of the State, so they wanted to play the whole thing.

Once Young Mula Baby left, fans were ready for Blink-182! Mark Hoppis, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba took the stage and jammed out to “Dumpweed” and “Don’t Leave Me”. Mark informed the audience that it had been 20 years since their smash album Enema of the State, so they wanted to play the whole thing. During their classic “Adam’s Song”, Mark told the audience to put their lighters and phones up. It was awesome to look around and see thousands of lights in the crowd. In the middle of the show, Mark and Matt performed acoustic versions of “Bored to Death” and Wasting Time” near the lawn seats towards the back of the amphitheater. After, Travis played his own drummer solo set, jamming out and spinning upside down for about 10 minutes straight! It was so badass! Blink finished off with “Dammit” and the fans were leaving the amphitheater with huge smiles on their faces. Once again, Blink-182 put on a great “Rock Show”!
