Roaring Camp welcomes The Expendables & Iya Terra
California Roots Presents kicked off a reggae-filled Memorial Day Weekend on Friday May 28th at Roaring Camp in Felton, CA. Formally the Felton Music Hall, the outside venue welcomed to the stage Matt Masih & The Messengers, Iya Terra and Santa Cruz local legends, The Expendables. Matt Masih & The Messengers got the show started, while guests settled into their designated pods with food and beverages.
Featured on several songs with The Messengers was Santa Cruz rapper Alwa Gordon!
After a very short break, Iya Terra played their first set for a live audience since the pandemic, busting out some of their new singles, like “We All Walk Our Own Roads” and “Ease and Grace”. Finally, it was time for The Expendables, who came out smashing and playing all the fan favorites! There was lots of dancing and smiling faces throughout the night, for everyone was happy to be under the California sun, listening to great live music again with friends and family! Stay tuned for more from Roaring Camp and make sure to get tickets for fantastic live shows at the venue all through Summer 2021.
