Pennywise at OC’s Garden Amp: Weekend 2, Day One
On March 11th, Pennywise headlined at the Garden Amp once again after selling out two nights the weekend before! This Friday night, the band played their entire About Time album from start to finish, with support from Dissension, Pulley and T.S.O.L.
The Adolescents were supposed to play, but could not make it, so T.S.O.L filled in.
You could feel the excitement and anticipation coming from the fans in line waiting to be let into the Garden Amp. It isn’t often you get the chance to see Pennywise at a venue this size! Dissension started things off, getting the crowd pumped for a night of pits and stage dives. Pulley came out next and hit the ground running. They had so much energy — it was really fun watching everyone singing along! They were followed by genre veterans T.S.O.L., who have been killing shows since 1978 and, as usual, did not disappoint. Finally, the main men of Pennywise came out and the venue, packed wall-to-wall, erupted with fans singing and slamming in the pit. Pennywise shows are always the best! Stay tuned for Day Two and Three from the Garden Amp series, coming soon!
