Super Girl Surf Festival 2026: Day Two

Day Two of the Super Girl Surf Festival was another action-packed day at the Oceanside Pier with attendees enjoying music, art, and competitive sports. The World Surf League surfing and longboarding knockout rounds continued, pushing towards the Sunday finals. Women also competed in beach volleyball, beach flag football, and inline/quads skating.

There were also several Cheer San Diego Extreme performance showcases.

It was another hot day at the beach, with a large crowd moving between vendor booths, the SMKFLWR Stage in the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre, ongoing beach sports, and the beer garden. Like Day One, musicians and athletes alike gave their all to entertain Oceanside. The festival’s free concert series offered a steady diet of beach vibe music, headlined by reggae superstars Iration. The Hawaiian-rooted, Isla Vista-formed reggae rock band with over 1 billion streams shared the honor of heading up this great event. Lead singer Micah Pueschel noted that he and several band members are “girl dads” during the performance and praised the organizers for two decades of work supporting female athletes.

But before that, the music started early, with bands taking the stage starting at noon. The Long View is an all-sibling band from North County San Diego, made up of Layse (19), Enzo (17), Coco (14), and Delmar (only 11!!). They play a blend of rockabilly, folk, and classic rock and roll. Lucy Spotts took centerstage next, a 23-year-old independent artist/surfer from New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

She plays acoustic guitar and sings with a classic country music voice.

Trestles was up next, a surf-meets-psych band from Santa Cruz, rooted in 1960s garage rock revival. Their female rhythm section laid down smooth beats for the chill vocals and guitar licks of the guys before SoCal-based singer-songwriter ANORA brought her blend of reggae, pop, soul, and Latina island heritage influences into the day. She also brought her sister Oly onstage to perform with her, as her guitarist and keyboardist got stuck in traffic and missed the first half of the set! Gotta love going up the 5 on a Saturday… ANORA’s track “Oceanside” got the biggest response, but the entire show was a huge hit, especially under the circumstances!

Alt heavyweight K.Flay then cranked up the volume with her band — rocking hard. She flowed easily between softer pop-oriented sounds and punk rock chaos, keeping the crowd on its toes. Considering she only has hearing in one ear, it’s insane how K. Flay keeps on delivering flawlessly live. After that, it was only a small amount of time before Iration wound down Day Two in true reggae style. Stay tuned for more!
