Dropkick Murphys & Rancid take over Paso Robles
The Boston to Berkeley Tour, with Rancid and Dropkick Murphys, took a stop in Paso Robles, California at Vina Robles Amphitheater on October 13th, 2021. First up was a band by the name of The Bronx, which I was pretty excited for. A band formed in Los Angeles back in 2002, they came out onstage literally swinging with high energy and I was extremely blown away by them.
It was then time for Rancid, which always is an excellent show!
Rancid lead singer Tim Armstrong is a fun one to photograph, because he loves to jump in the air — the kind of shots I live for! Seeing the crowd skank and mosh around to classics such as “Time Bomb”, “Ruby Soho” and more was a fun experience. Last to go on was Dropkick Murphys. I had never seen them and was surprised how much I truly enjoyed their set! Although from Massachusetts, the band members made it feel like you were back in Ireland at times, with accordions and the like! Make sure you catch this fine punk rock tour in a city near you if you can!
