I Prevail and Pierce the Veil show ‘True Power’ to Silver Spring, MD
I Prevail and Pierce the Veil recently teamed up for a rockin’ double-header of epic proportions. I was able to catch their show at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland and, let me tell you, it was an awesome show!
Yours Truly warmed the crowd up to get them pumped for the headliners. Fronted by Mikaila Delgado, Yours Truly came all the way from Sydney, Australia to join the U.S. tour dates of the True Power Tour (a celebration of I Prevail’s latest album). Delgado captured the crowd from the very beginning. It was great to find a new female-fronted band to listen to.
I am excited to see what the future holds for them!
It was my second time seeing Fit for a King live, as I had seen them some years before at Warped Tour. It had been some time, but they were just as amazing as before. During the set, bassist Ryan O’Leary got offstage to grab a beer and crowd-surfed back to finish the set. Their set was incredible, to say the least.
This was my third time seeing Pierce The Veil live; the last time was when they released their fourth studio album, Misadventures. The first time I was able to see PTV was at Warped Tour, as well, come to think of it… it was also my first concert and kept me wanting more. I had the option to capture the show then, but due to late notice, I couldn’t swing it. But, I was able to fully enjoy the incredible show they put on for me and many of their other PTV fans. Fast-forward to now, back in the same venue, and I was finally getting to do just that. This opportunity has been a dream of mine since I got into photography! I was thrilled that I was able to capture them, especially since I didn’t think I would ever get the opportunity to do that again.
I Prevail closed out the show, giving the crowd all they’ve got.
The band put on a great performance that will definitely make me see them again in the future. You could see the crowd change as the set began — they made a very rowdy scene. It was a blast! Catch I Prevail and Pierce the Veil if they are hitting your city!
