On June 13th, Josh Heinrichs headlined a sold out show at Costa Mesa’s Tiki Bar in Orange County. He was supported by Dread Kennedy and both artists were backed by Eureka Sound. I was really excited for this one, after serious FOMO watching videos of the Heinrichs DiPiazza’s sold out shows the two previous nights.
Even though it was a 2pm, the place was packed like it was a night show and everyone was ready to get their party on and do some dancing.
It was great to get back to a sweaty indoor packed crowd, dancing together like how it used to be. To get things going, Kennedy and Eureka Sound were first up. They were joined during the set by Shakamon, who helped pump up the crowd even more! Next up was Josh and the crowd lit up when he came on. It was so great hearing the whole crowd sing along to the whole set. One of the best parts was about halfway through his set, when Josh brought a fan from the crowd up to do the ‘Dad’s Elixir’ challenge with him — a.k.a, to each drink a 1000mg bottle of Josh’s collaboration with Dad’s Elixir. The whole day was a great experience all around and I cant wait till the next Josh Heinrichs show!
