Just Like Heaven 2026 moves to August in Pasadena — & we’re all for it

What’s better than a world-class indie rock and dance fest in May? A world-class indie rock and dance fest moved over to the summertime. That’s right — Just Like Heaven Fest is returning to Pasadena’s Rose Bowl… but just a bit later in the year than before. With Goldenvoice staying silent through the winter months, alt lovers were getting super sus that the festival might not even happen.

Little did we know ‘better late than never’ works so much in everyone’s favor this time around.

Set to come back to the Brookside at the Rose Bowl now on August 22nd, Just Like Heaven is revamped — just from calendar change alone! It’ll be hot, like HOT. You’ll want to pack that bucket hat, sunscreen, and neck fan, because daytime summer temperatures in Pasadena can be a bit brutal. But, come sundown, the party will be in full swing — no jacket necessary.

Plus, you simply can’t beat this year’s lineup. We’re talking The Strokes teaming up with LCD Soundsystem! Direct support is just as good — Dayglow, Whitney, Porches, and STRFKR — while TV Girl makes their only US appearance and Chromeo returns for another round of JLH merriment. Another 2026 fest exclusive is Twin Peaks playing their only show outside of Chicago (and first Los Angeles show in seven years), celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Down In Heaven album and coming back to the stage after a long-time performing hiatus. So many wins in one sentence.

Stacy Vee, an Executive VP at Goldenvoice, states, “The stars have aligned and delivered The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, TV Girl, Feist and so many more beloved indie, rock, and dance artists to Brookside this August.” She adds, “This is such a unique and special lineup, it all feels core Just Like Heaven, but also entirely brand new at the same time.”

Speaking of “core” JLH entities, the disco DJ tent A Club Called Rhonda will return, as well as The Heavenly Objects Market and Cosmic Kids Land, where kids can participate in family-friendly activities throughout the day and parents can take a (much-earned) shady break.

Tickets for 2026 are on sale now, with general admission starting as low as $209. Want a little extra? VIP passes start at $439, with limited payment plans available. If you can afford it, Clubhouse level comes in at $699 — by far the way to go — with updated amenities (like gourmet desserts and wine-tasting!!), more shady areas, and more water refill stations planned for 2026 — not to mention natural, ice-cold, bottled water for only $3. All that on top of upfront stage viewing, an indoor AC lounge with a private entrance, upfront parking (right at the gate!!), a dedicated merch booth (beat the lines), and more.
