The weekend of June 7th-9th in Los Angeles was marked with an important event, the LA Pride Parade. The main celebration took part in West Hollywood as usual and in its park, a huge music festival was held. It was sold out for the first time. Colorful glittering crowd, rainbow colors everywhere, confetti and an atmosphere of freedom followed all the weekend. The celebration begun with an opening ceremony on Friday, hosted by Billy Francesca. It featured appearances by LGBT advocates and leaders. A spectacular performance of Todrick Hall and legendary Paula Abdul finished the day.
Colorful glittering crowd, rainbow colors everywhere, confetti and an atmosphere of freedom…
Saturday (8 June) and Sunday (9 June) hosted a rich program on both stages, starting in the afternoon. The Veronicas, Ah-Mer-Ah-Su, Ashanti, Cupcakke, The Drums, Greyson Chance, MNEK and others rocked the festival. And, the headliners — Meghan Trainor and Years and Years — completely made the crowd go crazy. Olly Alexander blowed up an audience with his own signature dancing. The celebration ended up with fireworks and a title of the largest and most exciting LA Pride Festival ever held.
