Reggae at the Rock: Day One

After waiting a year and being postponed twice due to COVID, Reggae at the Rock finally happened!!! Not only that, but it happened it grow from a single day event to a two-day music festival with two stages and over 20 bands! It was a beautiful weekend in Daytona Florida at the Hard Rock Hotel on the beach, with nonstop reggae hosted by DJ Como and Badda Skat for the Kids Rock the Nation.

It was back-to-back awesome bands!

Saturday was kicked off by Caribbean Connection and Tidal Theory at 11 in the morning and, as one band finished, the next band was going on the other stage. Drifting Roots was full of energy, even running around the crowd playing their guitars, getting the crowd pumped up for more. Vibes Farm put on an awesome show; this four-piece band is full of amazing musicians. One of my favorite things about a music festival is finding bands I have never seen before and becoming a fan and, for Day One, Coastal Breed was that band. The night was finished off by Resinated, a band from St. Petersburg, FL. They put on an amazing show, as always, getting the fans dancing, singing and screaming along for more.
