As the morning of Day Three kept upon the attendees of the funky, flair-approved and freedom-encouraging Same Same But Different festival, the last thing on anybody’s mind was to stop the party early. Lake Perris shimmered in the sunshine, welcoming swimmers and floaters as Red Giant Project and Moontricks played the musical stages. The Coconut Cabana deejays also helped the groove!
By nightfall, Balkan Bump and The Motet entertained with laser light shows and psychedelic video screens — something we all needed.
The alternative folk rock of Dirtwire kept the crowd moving into the night, with EDM-infused STS9, Sunsquabi and LSDream to follow, rounding out yet another perfect Same Same weekend in the sun! Like the previous years, it’s hard to imagine how this festival can top itself for 2022… we shall have to see what they have up their sleeve next!
