Weird Al dares to be stupid in Paso Robles, California

On September 15th, Vina Robles Amphitheater was blessed to host comedic singer songwriter “Weird Al” Yankovic.

This was my first time seeing him, but I heard he put on a great performance!

By the time he went onstage, the Paso Robles arena was packed full of fans who were eager to see him perform — ready to dance and sing (and laugh) the night away! Weird Al has not released an album since 2014, however, there was just a film about his life starring Daniel Radcliffe that was release earlier this year. Regardless of new releases, he still put on an outstanding and energetic show — mostly made up of his more obscure songs, which tickled hardcore fans.

Since this was nearly a hometown show Weird Al, he told us stories of his day at Cal Poly University.

And, boy, don’t we love a good ‘ol Weird Al rant… I mean, story… All in all, Weird Al Yankovic is like a fine wine — it ages and you still drink it. I would totally recommend seeing him if he comes to a city near you! And, there’s not much time left to do so, since Weird Al’s current tour leg ends in a few weeks (although he already has a few tour dates on the calendar for 2023)! Whether it’s in “Albuquerque”, while living in an “Amish Paradise” or atop “The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota”, there’s always room to get “White & Nerdy” with Weird Al, so catch him in your neighborhood soon!
