Whiskey Myers has been bringing it hard for the last 14 years

Whiskey Myers burst onto the country rock scene in 2008 with their debut album Road to Life and 5 studio albums later they are still going strong. On November 13th, the Texas southern band played at the beautiful Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara and rocked the house with a high energy show. They were accompanied by up and comers Read Southall Band. The upstart band from Oklahoma City played a raucous but sadly short opening set. The audience seemed to really enjoy their soulful country rock vibes and I left a new fan, following them on all social media platforms.

When it comes to Whiskey Myers, they have grown exponentially in the last 14 years. From small dive bars to large venues, then making the jump to the screen on the hit TV series Yellowstone! This band has everything it takes to make it far in country music. Once the band kicked off with the first note they had the honky tonk crowd set to have a memorable night. If you haven’t seen this band live you are missing out on one helluva show. The band brings great songwriting and excellent stage performance with songs that hit home to the heart. I consider myself a country music connoisseur and the sound of Whiskey Myers is some of the finest in the genre.
