Bourbon & Beyond Fest comes back to Kentucky for Fall 2024

Bourbon & Beyond Fest comes back to Kentucky for Fall 2024

The anticipation is building as the star-studded lineup for Bourbon & Beyond — the World’s Largest Bourbon & Music Festival — has been announced for this fall, set to take over the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville from September 19th to the 22nd, 2024. This four-day celebration promises an unparalleled experience, combining top-tier musical performances with elevated bourbon tastings and culinary delights.

Now in its sixth year, Bourbon & Beyond is expanding its horizons with two additional music stages and 40 more artists, making it a total of five stages that feature 100 musicians. The festival blends country music, Americana, classic rock, alternative, rock, roots, blues, bluegrass, and adult contemporary tunes together, rightly earning a nomination for the ‘2024 Global Festival of the Year’ by Pollstar.

The festival’s 2024 musical map features legends and rising stars alike.

The lineup not only pays homage to music’s timeless legends, but also showcases the talent of today’s storytellers and craftsmen. Headliners include the incomparable Neil Young and the eclectic Beck on Thursday, the iconic Dave Matthews Band and the soulful Tedeschi Trucks Band on Friday, the dynamic duo of Zach Bryan and Cody Jinks on Saturday, and the brilliant Tyler Childers and My Morning Jacket closing out the festival on Sunday. Joining this stellar lineup are Matchbox Twenty, The National, Whiskey Myers, Black Pumas, The War On Drugs, and many more, creating a diverse and captivating musical experience.

Bourbon & Beyond also features performances by the hypnotizing sounds of Amigo The Devil and the legendary bluegrass group Yonder Mountain String Band. Amigo the Devil, led by Danny Kiranos, provides the perfect twist of “Dark Folk” and tantalizing lyrics. Joining Danny is his sister Katerina Kiranos, who plays keys for Amigo the Devil. Katerina is a rising star in the industry, performing shows outside of the group under the moniker Katacombs. Yonder Mountain String Band has undoubtedly been in the go-to rotation of bluegrass lovers; their fans follow them all over the U.S. and beyond.

The dynamic experience at Bourbon & Beyond goes beyond music, too, offering an array of culinary features curated by renowned chefs, such as Chris Blandford, Amanda Freitag, Ed Lee, and Chris Santos. There will be a feast for the senses with daily workshops, bourbon tastings, and demonstrations. The festival also boasts the Kroger Big Bourbon Bar, featuring bluegrass bands and expertly curated selections of Kentucky’s finest bourbons.

Danny Wimmer, the brain behind the festival, expressed his excitement, especially with the inclusion of the legendary Neil Young:

“To have one of the most influential artists of all time, Neil Young, headline Bourbon & Beyond this year is so incredibly special.”

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear shared his enthusiasm, stating, “The festival brings in fans from all over the world and showcases the best of Kentucky, highlighting our rich culture of bourbon, the best in local culinary, and a top-tier musical lineup.”

With weekend passes that started at just $1 down and a variety of camping options available, Bourbon & Beyond offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the heart of Kentucky’s cultural treasures. So mark your calendars, secure your passes, and get ready to experience the magic of Bourbon & Beyond this September in Louisville!
