Chivalry’s new single “Cast Away” produced by T-Ray of Tribal Seeds

“Cast Away” is the title of the new single from Chivalry, a three-piece band hailing from Pueblo, Colorado and by all accounts, it is an indicator that this band still has much more to offer. The single, during its peak moments, does a great job painting a desolate landscape in the listener’s mind, and is engaging enough to keep that image alive. The raw and authentic talent Chivalry displays in this track along with the help and guidance of Tribal Seeds own Tony-Ray make “Cast Away” makes this offering worth every single second.

We were fortunate enough to speak to Chivalry about their new single, inspirations, and what’s in store for them in the future.

First off, we here at Top Shelf Reggae would like to thank you for taking to time to sit down and answer a few questions about the new release. We took a listen to the track “Cast Away” produced by Tony-Ray from Tribal Seeds and was very impressed from what we heard so far. It’s a great way to kick-off 2018. For those that have not heard of your music, please introduce yourself and describe your music.

We are a three piece reggae/rock/alternative band from Pueblo, Colorado. Our members are Dylan Trimble-Lead Vocals/Guitar… Eli Vigil-Guitar/drums/vocals… Matt Sammon-Bass 

You just released the single “Cast Away,” tell us about the meaning behind the track and where the inspiration came from.

The riff dates back to high school but the melody and lyrics were simply inspired by finding a girl who follows the sound waves. 

What excited you the most about recording the new single?

Working with Tony-Ray Jacobo and all the knowledge he was able to provide! And also Fabian Cooke for his touch and expertise to pull the vibe together! 

How would you like someone to feel after listening to your new single?

A tune that makes you want to make dance but also has a chill vibe that lures you to pack a bowl for two! 

Can we be expecting a new Chivalry album in the near future?

Absolutely! With new and old songs in the mix.

So, what’s next for Chivalry?

Releasing our E.P and keep writing to expand our sound to a whole new audience and creating feel good music that anyone can enjoy!
