Coachella 2020 is here!

The moment all mainstream music lovers have all been waiting for is here — Coachella 2020 has been revealed! That magical unveiling always warrants your money well-spent if you secured your passes from festival’s pre-sale, prompting others who haven’t splurged for a ticket yet into a panic for when whatever’s leftover goes public. You never know if you can secure one of the few coveted Weekend Two spots once the lineup drops…

As per always, the festival blends a myriad of music together into one quintessential experience

And, what a lineup it is! Going with solely male headliners this year, Coachella 2020 boasts headliners Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean for Friday, Saturday and Sunday of April 10th – 12th and 17th – 19th, 2020. Rage Against the Machine reunites for only a handful of shows this year, so catching them at ‘Chella is a real treat. As per always, the festival blends a myriad of music together into one quintessential experience — mainly of the underground alternative and EDM variety. Among the alt bands for 2020 are Rex Orange County, Cuco and Lana Del Rey next to industry titans like Thom Yorke of Radiohead. EDM’s largest name, Calvin Harris, is going to light up Friday nights, while Louis the Child, Flume, Duck Sauce and so more keep the dance party going for two weekends straight. Rappers 21 Savage, DaBaby, Lil Uzi Vert, BROCKHAMPTON and beyond round out the hip hop selection. And, there are some artists on the 2020 lineup that either break away into their own category or are downright unclassifiable altogether. 90s DJ Fatboy Slim is making a comeback, while the jam band jubilee of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will fulfill all Phish lovers’ wildest dreams. Reggae-rapper Koffee is performing her GRAMMY-nominated bangers the same day that South African DJ Black Coffee is spinning… which might cause for slight confusion. Yet, the greatest and most unexpected Coachella act for 2020 has to be the inclusion of Danny Elfman — debatably the most iconic cinematic composer of our time. Nothing like Nightmare Before Christmas anthems wafting over the Empire Polo Club grounds!

Weekend One, of course, is beyond sold out. Better luck next year (or with secondhand ticket resellers that tack on inflated prices you wouldn’t believe). If you want your chance at scoring one of the few remaining Weekend Two passes, tickets go on sale (with a new half down now, half later payment option!!) tomorrow at 10am PST. We recommend going in the waiting room now to be safe!
