Common Kings “Ain’t No Stopping” new single

Earlier this year, the southern California based Common Kings updated their social media followers with a much “Liked” announcement. The social media post foreshadowed and promoted the impending release of the Polynesian pop/rock/reggae/R&B group's brand new single titled “Ain't No Stopping.” Today the public will be able to download and listen to that single.

“Ain't No Stopping” is the first from the band's forthcoming debut full studio album, which is set to be released sometime during the first quarter of 2016. We caught up with Common Kings in the studio while they were finishing up a few things for the new album, and asked to describe their new single:

It’s just about the everyday hustle and about the grind, you know?

“It’s different. We still have the reggae undertones definitely, and it’s more like rock meets reggae/pop, kind of like where we’re going now, but a new kind of vibe. It’s going to be good man.” Describing the inspiration behind the song, Common Kings added, “It’s just about the everyday hustle and about the grind, you know? It’s about our whole journey, up until now. We’ve just been so focused about the single and the new album. It’s just so nice that when you go on this journey that you experience, and then be able to write about it and then let the rest of the world know what we’re going through. And that’s what it is, a constant hustle… an everyday hustle no matter what kind of set backs you have, you just keep going you know? Ain’t no stopping.”

Common King fans can purchase the new single today just as the four member crew are getting geared up for their west coast “Ain’t No Stopping Fall Tour” with Leilani Wolfgramm along with Sammy J with AOK starting October. Check the dates below for a city near you!
