Dry Diggings returns to NorCal for Year 5

From the producers of California Roots Music & Arts Festival, Dry Diggings returns to El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, CA for its 5th year with an expanded three-day lineup! Dry Diggings features an impressive rundown, including Slightly Stoopid, Steel Pulse, Fortunate Youth, HIRIE, Josh Heinrichs, The Green, Trevor Hall, Rebelution, Collie Buddz, Josh Heinrichs, Iya Terra, Protoje, Dub Trio, Of Good Nature, Ballyhoo!, Fia, Kash’d Out, CRSB and Arden Park Roots.

Dry Diggings is a family-friendly, camping festival, nestled in the mountains of northern California about halfway between Lake Tahoe and Sacramento. The festival features cooling indoor lounges and a social club to cool off with your crew, complete with misters, couches and games like cornhole, Jenga and more. They even have an all-ages skate competition on Saturday, August 31st. Sign-ups begin at 10:30am and with multiple levels and various point-based matches. Winners will receive some awesome custom gear from Dry Diggings!

There are plenty of activities for the adults, as well, including “Mimosa Mornings” on Saturday the 30th and Sunday, September. Sign up the morning of at the Diggings Social Club. There will also be “YOGAnja” on Sunday morning at 11am: a cannabis-infused yoga session for patrons to engage in before the music starts. 

With such a packed lineup, it always helps to have an idea of each band’s sound beforehand and often at a music festival, patrons may not know every band on the lineup.
