Lords of Acid returns to the road bringing acid house for all

It was 1988 and, like many a teenager, my music was the bane of my parents’ existence. From behind my poster-covered bedroom door, you could hear thick acid house electronic dance beats mixed with the most scandalous and erotic lyrics. Lords of Acid‘s single “I Sit on Acid” was on repeat. By 1991, I could finally get into the ‘Southern California 18’ and over to clubs like Club Post Nuclear in Laguna Beach or local radio station KROQ‘s Alternative Night at Kokomo’s in Irvine. There, I could dance and sing “Darling come here…” or “I must, I must, I must increase my bust…” at the top of my lungs without a care in the world. You see, “Lust” had changed my musical DNA.

Fast forward 29 years, seven amazing albums, approximately 22 singles and EPs, with multiple lineup changes and various lead singers later, one thing remains constant — Praga Khan and his twisted, seductive lyrics and mad sick beats. After wrapping up a successful 2019 tour in support of their crowdfunded and highly fan-based input EP, Pretty In Kink, Khan, alongside lead singer Marieke “Little Bloody Mary” Bresseleer and their entourage of musical geniuses, are back to bring you their Make Acid Great Again Tour!
