Reggae Rise Up Florida returns to the Sunshine State for 2023

Reggae Rise Up Florida 2023 is just echoes away! The largest touring reggae music festival in the world is taking place on the west coast of the Florida peninsula, in a town commonly referred to as ‘St. Pete’! There is no doubt that you will see this many touring bands of this stature on one bill on the east coast quite like it.

Musicians, artists and vendors from all over come to the beautiful downtown of St. Petersburg, Florida to create and share art with the community. Home to the Salvador Dali Museum, St. Pete invites attendees to experience its diverse culture, including some of the best food, art and people around! The ocean breeze from the nearby Tampa Bay sets the tone for a scenic landscape of nonstop fun with the relaxing vibes of coastal life.

Reggae Rise Up is aimed at surpassing anyone’s expectations and creating a more diverse experience for music fans worldwide.

It is known for bringing a wide variety of music from reggae, hip hop, rock and paying tribute to the cultural roots of Rastafari. And, this year, an extra day has been added! Travelers will have the opportunity to kick off the unforgettable pre-party starting on Thursday, March 16th, with island vibes from Knex and groovy jams from Mihali, finishing up with heavy-hitting headliners 311 and Dispatch. It’s a perfect cocktail to start the Reggae Rise Up Florida 2023 party!

On Friday, March 17th, festival-goers will experience live performances from nationally recognized artists such as The Elovaters, Little Stranger, Iya Terra, HIRIE, Matisyahu and more! Headliners that night will take attendees to California by vibing hard with Sublime with Rome and Rebelution.

Saturday, March 18th will bring in a more roots sound. With headlining performances by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Koffee. Bermuda’s king of reggae, Collie Buddz, will be storming the stage earlier in the day. Additional exciting performances that day include Arise Roots, DENM, The Movement, Roots of Creation and more! Every single band is coming in hot and playing all day and all night. NONSTOP MUSIC. NONSTOP FUN.

Last, Sunday, March 19th — the last day of the festival — will be electric! Hip hop icon Wiz Khalifa is joining the Rise Up family for the very first time! He will be sharing the night with Reggae Rise Up OGs Dirty Heads. This dynamic duo are to hit the main stage to close out the entire event, but not before festival-goers are treated to performances by Pepper, Joe Samba, J Boog, Satsang and so many more lined up to take the stage!

Multiple stages dedicated to 36 musical performances over four consecutive days are set to pop off this Spring, with art vendors and exciting activities for the masses! Expect nearly endless live music, offering so many different genres of music!

There will easily be something for every kind of person to enjoy, thanks to Reggae Rise Up Florida prioritizing diversity above all else.
