Sammy Johnson, a.k.a Sammy J, has been making waves in the reggae scene for years with his islander vibes coinciding with his heartfelt lyrics. To be honest, the man makes the ladies melt. Watching him live is like witnessing a bunch of women in heat, all competing with each other to lock eyes with the somewhat bashful, yet soulful singer onstage… which is why his upcoming Mixed Feelings Tour this October is labeled perfectly. And, joining him on this short tour stretch is another islander that happens to get the fellas going as much as the girls: Hawaii's own gorgeous goddess, the one and only, Miss Anuhea. With Anuhea's pure presence compounding on Sammy J's dimples, it's a wonder why these two don't tour together regularly.

Starting in Pensacola, Florida on October 10th, the Mixed Feelings Tour is bound to hit 11 states in 17 days! That in itself is quite a feat, let alone delivering a solid show every night. From Florida, the two singers (with special guest Mahi) head due north along the east coast to hit New York, venture back down to DC and Virginia, journey east through Pennsylvania and on over to the midwest to end in Denver, Colorado on October 27th. Needless to say the tour covers a lot of land in a short amount of time – and shows no love to west coast Sammy J fans! Don't worry though; this tour is in promotion of Sammy J's upcoming album set for release early in 2018, so there's time for a west coast tour in or around the holidays. We'll see if another tour manifests. In the meantime, fans of Sammy J that can't catch him live can look for his new single “Sleepwalker” that's about to be available on all digital outlets in promotion of his new full-length LP. The album, that remains untitled at this time, will be released via Island Empire Records and is rumored to truly exemplify Sammy J's Maori roots and uplifting disposition.
