Slightly Stoopid, based in the Ocean Beach neighborhood of San Diego, California is a band that delivers a mix of rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk. As a band, they have released twelve albums, four of which are live. Their eighth studio album titled Meanwhile…Back at the Lab was released on June 29, 2015 and sat nicely below the Billboard's top 40.
Formed in the mid 90's by childhood friends Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, Slightly Stoopid have built up a cult following throughout the years. It is their solid songcraft which impresses most, mixing reggae, hip-hop and punk with glorious harmonies. Slightly Stoopid has locked in number of dates for their upcoming 2017 tour titled Sounds Of Summer with support from Iration, J Boog, and The Movement.

The new tour dates open in Glen Allen, Virginia, with Stoopid set to rock the Innsbrook After Hours Concert series which benefits the American Constitution Spirit Foundation and the Innsbrook Foundation. Touring the east coast from June 8th to July 14th, the band will move across the country and head west from Texas to California.
“It's gonna be a summer of madness when we the hit the road with our boys Iration, J Boog, and The Movement for the Sounds Of Summer 2017 tour,” says frontman Miles Doughty. “Smokestacks and sunshine while spending the summer jamming, BBQ-ing, and hanging with friends. Doesn't get much better than that!”
