Calling all elder emos! Start stretching and book those chiropractor appointments, because Sin City is back at it again with yet another epic weekend of throwback anthems. That’s right, When We Were Young returns to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on October 18th and 19th!
Is Vegas shifting from the EDM capital of the country to the ultimate hub for hardcore and pop rock? If you religiously check the event calendars of the Brooklyn Bowl and House of Blues LV, like some concert-head locals, it sure feels like it.
It’s no wonder the festival is back for its fourth year. And the lineup is absolutely stacked.
First up, it’s no shocker that Panic! At The Disco is headlining in 2025. With Las Vegas as their hometown and A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out turning 20, they’ll be performing the album in its entirety. Millennials, can you believe we were belting out “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies” when we were teens and preteens? For Gen Z, if you haven’t revisited those lyrics lately, read them. Regardless, this is a set you won’t want to miss.
Blink-182 is another must-see. The SoCal icons are bringing it back to the late ’90s and early ‘00s with tracks from Enema of the State, their self-titled album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, and possibly even earlier. Hopefully, at least one from Dude Ranch. The nostalgia will be heavy, but before you hit the circle pit, remember to pace yourself because we’re not kids anymore. (Cough, what’s my age, again?)
And for those who rocked mohawks and leather jackets back in the day, or still do for that matter, brace yourselves. Punk legends like The Offspring, Bad Religion, and Avril Lavigne are all hitting the stage. Spoiler alert — they still sound just as killer as they did in their prime. Time to load up on Gorilla Glue Gel and dust off that vintage leather jacket, because you’re going to need it.
If beatdown, hardcore, or metalcore is more your scene, you’re in for a treat. Kublai Khan, Knocked Loose, and Motionless In White will bring the breakdowns and chaos. Trust us, those pits are going to be absolutely brutal.
Save your chiro appointments. You’ll thank us later.
Saturday, October 18th is already sold out, but there are still tickets available for Sunday, October 19th. Don’t miss your chance to relive your teenage angst all over again. And if the festival isn’t in the cards, keep an eye out for side shows and afterparties around Vegas. Some of your favorite bands might just pop up!
Follow WWWY on Instagram via the links below for updates and snag your Sunday tickets here before they’re gone. This might feel like a once-in-a-lifetime moment, but lucky for you, it’s happening twice in Sin City this fall!
