Bite Me Bambi says go ahead & ‘Eat This’ for V-day dessert

A warm delicious ‘fk you’ with a side of skank sauce? That’s exactly what the doctor ordered with Bite Me Bambi’s new Eat This ablum, a quick and dirty 8-song LP calling out bad boyfriends, haters, gaslighters… the entire human population at large — including “Girls Like You”.

High-tempo, fast-action expertly executed ska experiences don’t just land in your earholes too often.

Let’s dance away everything wrong with the modern world. Produced by Cameron Webb (Sum 41, Pennywise), Eat This is saying out loud what the majority of the people on this planet has been thinking for a long time: there’s “too many people”, I’d rather stay inside; there’s an entire generation of narcissists, guess gaslighting is the new normal; there’s way too many things you hate about me, sucks to be you.

Fronted by Tahlena Chikami and backed by a pack of wild hyenas (Mike Berault on keys, Ryan Brown on bass, Edgar Guadiana holding down the sax, and Dan Evans on drums), Bite Me Bambi is for lovers of ska-punk styles (think Fishbone meets Save Ferris) — only with more attitude than ever.

Chikami comments on the album: “We are taking off the gloves of what we think other people want and just be who we are and who we want to be without trying to fit in a pre-packaged box of musical expectations.” Mike adds, “It’s been a creative journey, and we feel like we finally hit the sweet spot that reflects Bite Me Bambi for us and our audience, the old-school and potential future fans.”

And the icing on the cake?

A pink and black spotted vinyl version of this all-too sweet release. Out as of Valentine’s Day, Eat This is stuffed full of goodies — including a version of The Offspring‘s “Want You Bad” you never knew you needed.
