illScarlett is a band from Canada, but that does not stop them from bringing their rocking music to the states. The band has a huge following, and it is no surprise when one considers their collection of albums. Since the release of their first album in 2004, the band has been going around spreading their unique vibes and sound.
illScarlett has shown their music has grown, but has also stayed true to their style
Team Canada first introduced illScarlett’s music to many listeners located in the U.S. As a music promoter, Team Canada has also introduced music from the states to reggae rock fans located in parts of both Canada and the U.S. Surely, some noticed the Canadian band when they recently went on tour with Mad Caddies, the band from California. Music from both bands lean toward punky rock reggae, but it is their influence and style, which keeps people wanting more.
Recently releasing a self-titled album, illScarlett has shown their music has grown, but has also stayed true to their style, even with new band members. Not only does this new album appear to provoke fun times with a classic feel, but the band obviously plays around with various electronic sounds. Hip-hop influence and keys galore are heard throughout the album, but the boys mainly stick to rocking out. Alex Norman continues to have clever lyrics, and guitar play continues to be crucial toward their overall sound.
If you like music that rocks out and carries that reggae-rock feel, check out illScarlett. These Canadians are pretty clever at expressing a unique style with their rock music.
