The Irie reveals “Never Alone” single & video off upcoming EP

Arizona reggae band The Irie return a week after unveiling the music video for love song “Never Alone” with the single’s official release! Following the band’s summery “Turn Me Up” track (featuring The Elovaters), “Never Alone” stands as the first song off The Irie’s forthcoming Can’t Get Enough EP, due out February 5th. As previously stated, The Irie led with the single’s video first, allowing fans excitement for when they can officially stream it. Well, the day has come!

“Never Alone” is a sugary, sweet love song, with ride-or-die sentimentalities wrapped in island vibes.

Easy guitar strums and keyboard chords are met with stern horns at the song’s beginning — a combination both commanding and reassuring. Lead singer George Ruiz serenades to a love interest “you come from my soul”… “wherever we go”, we will indefinitely be “Never Alone”. Although laying heavily into island reggae, the song also emits traces of electronica and Caribbean styles, not to mention more of a pop feel all-around. Woven together into a tight melody, The Irie expresses the diversity of their sound through yet another masterful release.

Scroll down to watch the all-new cinematic music video for “Never Alone” and do make sure to pre-order and pre-save the upcoming EP! You do not want to miss out on what this band does next.
