9 Mile Roots “Drifting” official video

Guest post by Josh Behun, bassist and vocals for 9 Mile Roots

“Drifting” was filmed at Seacrets in Ocean City, Maryland – during their annual Memorial Day weekend party, arguably their biggest event of the year. People swarm into “The City by the Ocean”, arriving by the bus load, to kick-off the beginning of summer in style. Over a dozen bars, multiple stages, a bay full of rafts with waitresses slinging drinks and a stage on the beach with 9 Mile Roots there to cap things off and keep the party drifting well into the wee hours of the night.

“We normally get into town the night before – the party often starts damn near 9 am, with the crowd lining up, just waiting to get through the doors – and its fun to kick it around town a bit during the day, chill on the beach, chat with some fans and just hang with some of our friends who eventually roll through town as well…”

9 Mile Roots will be at it again this year – May 26th, 27th, and 28th ! Plus several more times throughout the summer @ Seacrets in Ocean City – better known as Jamaica: USA. If you’re on the East Coast, this is a club scene experience not to be missed…

Drifting was filmed and edited by Zach Myers and Everett Glovier – two local Maryland videographers who have become quite familiar with the 9 Mile Roots vibe – they’re also the team responsible for 9 Mile Root’s previous video for the song “Feel” !
