Premiere: Lior Ben-Hur’s new single and video “Roads of Creation”

Born in Jerusalem, Israel and now calling San Francisco, California home, reggae artist Lior Ben-Hur along with his eight piece band have been working tirelessly towards their new debut full length album So I Wander.

Today, Lior Ben-Hur is premiering the music video for their new single “Roads of Creation” exclusively for readers of Top Shelf Reggae. “Roads of Creation” from the upcoming album, So I Wander, reveals Lior Ben-Hur’s deep passion for reggae music, and demonstrates his band’s ability to perform high-energy roots music.

Produced by Marcus Urani of Groundation, the video opens up with a comical scene with the band waking up in their home, seemingly to have overslept and rushing to pack their bags and leave the house. As Lior Ben-Hur sings, “To the roads of creation, I could not live another way,” we see the video cut to a shot of the band riding happily in an open highway when they reach their accidental destination.

The band’s strong belief in personally discovering, respecting and preserving mother nature is displayed in this video with beautiful aerial footage of pristine landscapes and unique combinations of geologic color that decorate the mountains surrounding the group.

“Roads of Creation” is the first single from Lior Ben-Hur’s upcoming debut album, So I Wander, and is produced by Groundation’s own Marcus Urani, mixed and mastered by Jim Fox (Lion and Fox recording studios) and features special contributions from artists Kumar Bent of Raging Fyah, Jah Levi, Rasta elder Mutabaruka and the accomplished Palestinian rapper, Saz.
