Stick Figure “Weary Eyes” official music video

Facing the huge task of one-upping 2012’s critically acclaimed album Burial Ground, Stick Figure’s latest album Set in Stone hit the mark and blew away expectations. Set In Stone still reminds us of the Stick Figure that we fell in love with: searing bottom-heavy bass lines, big hooks, concise and playful synthesizers heard especially in tracks like “Choice is Yours,” “Mind Block,” and “Smokin’ Love.” You can hear it in their musical tone that they want to spread love and happiness to everyone through the power of music.

To compliment the album, a new visual was just released this month for the eighth track “Weary Eyes.” Set In Stone is available to purchase on iTunes and all other online music retailers.

Scott Woodruff—a.k.a Stick Figure—had this to say about the video: “‘Weary Eyes’ is a song about letting life unfold naturally. We spend so much time worrying about the future or dwelling on the past that we forget to live in the present. The theme of the lyrics are about being mindful and that how we perceive what we experience determines our fate. The dark times are put in place for us to appreciate the good ones. Life unfolds in the present, so enjoy each moment and look for the positive in everything.”
