Attention, ghosts and goblins! We have an exciting announcement on the festival front for all Halloween and EDM enthusiasts! Escape Halloween is returning this year for it’s 10th annual two-day haunt, with initial lineup leaders such as legend Benny Benassi, The Chainsmokers and Zedd for all your spook-tainment. North America’s largest Halloween-themed dance party is slated to take place this upcoming Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 30th at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.

Insomniac Events went off on what is only their first lineup announcement… we love a juicy “more TBA” slated at the bottom of a roster! Over 65 artists represent all genres of EDM, with some feel-good happy electro by ARMNHMR, down to some heavy dubstep thanks to our Halloween necessities Vampa and Zomboy. In our dubstep/ heavy whoomps category is Baauer, Bioweapon, Dack Janiels, Mersiv, Trampa; for our headbangers, there is a back-to-back set featuring Doctor P and Funtcase. Funky dance-alicious dubstep is scheduled from Ganja White Night and JSTJR, who could bring any kind of get-down vibe (this man loves moombahton!!), plus an incredible back-to-back set with Machinedrum and Holly! And, finally, some light melodic dubstep from Dabin and William Black for all the good feels.
Speaking of feel-good, we have The Chainsmokers headlining our melodic EDM category, along with Ekali and a special DJ set from Gryffin. We get a solid twist of metal with Sullivan King, representing metal dubstep for all our true headbangers and rail-riders. Drum and bassheads will love the beats from Black Sun Empire and Noisa, while house fiends will also get their fix with an array of house artists and blends, starting with a killer can’t-miss back-to-back set from Loco Dice and Nicole Moudaber. Elephante, KSHMR, Loud Luxury, Sonny Fodera and Vintage Culture will bring us totally dance-approved progressive house pop for your pleasure, while house techno will be bumping from Anna Lunoe, DJ Issac, Eric Prydz, Layton Giodanii, LUCATI, Ranger Trucco and VNSSA. For fans of that classic house groove, there’s Ida Engberg, LondonBridge, NightFunk, Tchami and Will Clarke. Into deep bass house? Check out Green Velvet, Jauz and partywithray. To keep your energy up, go hardstyle with Gammer HD, Henry Fong, Junkie Kid, DJ Mad Dog, Mrotek, SOREN, Toneshifterz and then head to hip hop sets by Playboi Carti and Schmitty to cool you down.

Escape’s four stages are as follows: The Grimm (featuring dance and incredible new stage production), Psycho Circus (a rush of dubstep, basshouse, drum and bass, and trap bang), Sanitarium (a stage for the hard dancers, playing nonstop hardcore and hardstyle) and, finally, the Sewer District (an experience of subversive live art, deep house and techno).
